Personal Information Policy

Online Service Site(hereinafter referred to as “Site”) operated by INNOCEAN Worldwide Inc. .(hereinafter called as the "Company") makes much of users’ personal information, and complies with all regulations related to protection of personal information including ‘the Act regarding the Promotion of Information and Communication Network Use and Protection of Information’. The Site advises what kind of use and method the user’s personal information is used in, and what measures are taken to protect users’ personal information through ‘Personal Information Policy’.

This ‘Personal Information Policy’ may be modified according to the change of the laws with regard to the protection of personal information, or the change of the Company policy. The user, therefore, should occasionally visit the Site to identify the possible changes.

1. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

The purpose that the Company collects personal information for is to authenticate the user’s identity, confirm the user’s intention to use the service of the Site, and provide the user with the optimal service. The Site provides e-commerce services and diverse services fit for the users’ characteristics and tastes, and collects personal information within the range that allows the Company to settle the problem aroused as the user uses the service of the Site. The items of personal information and purpose of collection is as follows.

2. Consent to Collection of Personal Information

The Company prepares the procedure where users may click 「Consent」 or 「Cancel」 button regarding the content of Personal Information Policy or Use Clause of the Company and if the user clicks 「Consent」 button, the Site considers the user has consented to the collection of personal information. If the user does not consent to Personal Information Policy or Terms and Conditions of Use, there may be some restrictions on the services provided.

3. Items of Personal Information and Method of Collection

The Company receives the information required to provide services when the users sign up for the membership or order goods: name, e-mail, address, phone number. In order to provide services for price settlement, delivery and refund for purchase of goods, the Company may ask the user for additional information such as phone number, address, credit card information, bank account number, deposit holder etc. In addition, the Company may selectively inquire personal information of the user for free gifts in some events and/or for a survey. After relevant purpose is achieved, the information will be disposed immediately. The Company does not collect sensitive personal information(race and ethnicity, thoughts and beliefs, native place and permanent address, political tendency and criminal records, health status or sex life etc.) which may abuse human rights of the users.

In any case the Company does not use the personal information for purposes other than the purpose specified to users in advance nor disclose it to a third party.

4. Provision and Sharing of Personal Information

(1) This company shall not provide a member’s personal information to a third person without prior consent of the user.
(2) When it provides or shares a member’s personal information, the Company announces the subject and object of personal information to be provided or shared, the item of personal information to be provided or shared, the purpose of personal information, retention and use period separately through the site, e-mail or document, application, and asks a separate consent.

5. Use of personal information for other purpose and provision to a third person

(1) The Company shall not use the user’s information for any use other than internet service the Company provides save the open information through internet service screen nor provide it to a third person without the user’s consent. But it will be exceptional in each number of the following.
1. ① When there are any special provisions in the laws such as Law of Real Name Financial Transaction, Use and Protection of Credit Information Act, Framework Act on Telecommunications, Telecommunications Business Act, District Taw Act, Consumer Protection Act, Bank of Korea Act, Criminal Proceedings Act.
2. ② When it is necessary for the settlement of the charges according to the provision of services
3. ③ When it is necessary for the preparation of statistics, academic study or market survey in case of providing in the form not to identify a special person
4. ④ In case of providing personal information to related companies for service guidance(Supplier : Hyundai Motor Company, Innocent Corp.)
(2) The Company may provide personal information to a tie-up company or share it with a tie-up company in order to provide better services to the users. When it provides or shares personal information, the Company shall notify individually in advance who is a tie-up company, what is the personal information item to be provided or shared, why such information should be provided or shared, when and how personal information will be protected, managed, and pass through the procedure of asking the consent. If the user does not consent, the Company shall not provide personal information for a tie-up company nor share it with a tie-up company. Even if the user consent the provision of personal information once., the user can withdraw the consent any time.
(3) When the user does not enter the membership in the Site but uses the service of the Site, the information of a payer or information of a recipient entered shall not be used for the purpose other than the purpose related to price payment and distribution of goods.

6. Commission of Collected Personal Information

The Company may commission the collection, handling, management of personal information of members on a trustee for the betterment of service, and according to related laws and regulations, the Company provides the regulations so that personal information may be safely managed in the commission contract.

The Company runs the affairs such as a trustee, scope of trust share information through a document, email, phone or homepage The Company defines in the commission contract the observance of direction related to personal information protection of a service provider, confidentiality of personal information, prohibition from providing to a third person and burden of responsibility in the accident, commission period, return or breakage of personal information after closing of treatment and stores relevant contract content in writing or by electronic method.

7. The Reading, Correction, Consent Withdrawal of Personal Information

The user may login the Site any time, read the user’s personal information in ‘'My Page' or correct it, and when the user requests to personal information manager of the Site by email or a letter, the Company shall correct it. However, member ID, name cannot be corrected. The user can do the withdrawal(termination) of the consent of the collection, use of personal information and the withdrawal of the consent provided to a third person through email, phone, fax, other method. In this case, the user shall always clarify a member’s personal information for the identification.

8. Retention Period and Use Period of Personal Information

(1) Collected personal information shall be destroyed immediately in the termination of membership. But in order to prevent the recurrence of a bad member’s illegal use, the Company may retain the name of a member for one(1) year from the termination date of use contract.
(2) In case of the following, when the purpose for the collection of personal information or provided purpose is achieved, the Company will destroy personal information.
1. ① In case of settlement information, when the full payment date of the price or the expiry of bond extinctive prescription expires.
2. ②In case of distribution information, when goods or service is delivered or provided
(3) However, pursuant to Article 6 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in the Electronic Commerce Transactions etc., in case of the withdrawal of the consent as to service use confined to the information to identify the identity of transaction such as name, address, the Company may preserve it, and pursuant to Article 6 of the same Act Enforcement Ordinance, the Company shall keep transaction records as the following.
1. ① Records as to mark, advertising : 6 months
2. ② Records as to contract or offer withdrawal etc. : 5 years

(4) The Company processes the user’s personal information safely, and destroys personal information for the prevention of leak with the following methods.
1. ① Personal information output in paper shall be crushed by a crusher or through incineratio0n.
2. ② Personal information stored in the form of electronic file shall be deleted by using technical method not to regenerate the records.

9. Operation of Cookie

The Company uses Cookie which stores the information as to users and searches for it any time to provide varied and differentiated services to the user. Cookie is a small quantity of information which the server of website transmits the user’s computer browser. Cookie identifies the user’s computer, but doesn’t identify the user personally.

And the user has no option as to Cookie. The Site may adjust the user’s web browser and accepts all the Cookies, or in installing Cookie, helps it send a notice, or can refuse all the Cookies. But when it refuses the storage of Cookie, the user needs to login the Site, required partial service may not be used.

10.Technical/Managerial Measures to Protect Personal Information

(1) The Company copes with the following technical measures to secure safety in handling the user’s personal information so that personal information may not be lost, robbed, leaked, falsified, or damaged.
1. ① The user’s personal information is protected by Password. But the user’s Password or other information is likely to be known to others in various ways like the use of internet in the public place, and what is the most important is to protect personal information thoroughly. Therefore, the user must not leak or provide personal information to others, but manage the user’s own personal information with responsibility. Regarding the leak of this Password or other information, the Company shall not be responsible for it.
2. ② The user’s personal information is basically protected by means of Password, and important data with the file and transmitting data coded is protected through a separate security function.
3. ③The Company always uses vaccine to renew new information automatically and has the full-time working personnel for protection measures in order to prevent the damages by computer virus. If virus gets into the Site, vaccine sends virus penetration warning to the worker automatically and treats it automatically.
4. ④The Company adopts the method to transmit personal information on the network safely by using 128 Bit SSL encoded algorithm certified in Verisign.
5. ⑤The Company, in order to prevent your personal information from being leaked by the invasion of hacker etc., has the system of invasion detection and invasion block from the outside and manages the systems by monitoring all around the clock. Providing for any emergency, all the systems of invasion detection and invasion block are composed with a perfect double-working system.
(2) The Company recognizes the importance of users’ personal information protection and restricts the personal information handling personnel for this to the minimum, and the personal information manager executes the education targeting handling personnel periodically and does its best to protect personal information. In addition, the Company checks whether or not the observance of the performance affairs specified in this policy and related staff periodically, and if there is any violation affair, the Company corrects and improves it and takes necessary measures.

11. Convergence of Opinion and Handling of Dissatisfaction

The Company operates a Customer Center so that the users related to personal information protection may raise an opinion or a dissatisfaction. If you give your opinion to the personal information manager of Customer Center, we’ll take measures within the quickest time after the filing and notify the result of treatment. When there occurs any dispute related to personal information protection between the user and the Company, the user can request the disposition to Personal Information Damage Report Center operated by the government.
